Proper aftercare for permanent makeup procedures : microblading, nanobrows, and lip blush is crucial for achieving the best results. Here are general aftercare steps to follow for these treatments:

AfterCare

Aftecare Scar camouflage, stretch marks and areola micropigmentation:

After a scar camouflage procedure, proper aftercare is essential to ensure optimal healing and pigment retention. Here’s a recommended aftercare routine:

1. Keep the Area Clean and Dry
For the first 24-48 hours, avoid getting the treated area wet. Cleanse gently around it, if needed, but don’t let water directly touch the area.
2. Avoid Sun Exposure
UV rays can affect the color of the pigment, so keep the area covered or apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen after initial healing. Avoid tanning beds.
3. Use Recommended Ointments
Apply a thin layer of any ointment recommended by your specialist to keep the area moisturized. Avoid petroleum-based products unless advised.
4. Avoid Picking or Scratching
Scabbing is normal, but resist picking or scratching as this can remove pigment and lead to scarring. Allow the scabs to fall off naturally.
5. Limit Physical Activity
Avoid intense exercise or activities that could cause sweating around the treated area for at least a week, as sweat may disrupt the healing.
6. Avoid Makeup and Harsh Products
For at least a week, keep makeup and skincare products away from the area. Avoid exfoliants, acids, and retinoids.
7. Stay Hydrated and Nourish Your Skin
Drink plenty of water and eat a balanced diet to support skin healing from the inside.
8. Expect Gradual Color Changes
The pigment may look darker initially and will soften as it heals. Full results can take a few weeks to appear.

Follow-up with your specialist, as you may need a touch-up once healing is complete for the best results.

General Permanent Makeup Aftercare

1. Keep the Area Clean and Dry
• For the first 24-48 hours, avoid direct contact with water. Clean gently around the treated area without getting it wet.
2. Avoid Touching or Picking
• Do not touch, pick, or scratch the treated area. Scabbing is natural, but disturbing the area can lead to pigment loss, irritation, or infection.
3. Protect from Sun Exposure
• Sun can fade the pigment, so avoid sun exposure during healing. After initial healing, use SPF on the area to help preserve color.
4. Use Recommended Ointment (if Advised)
• If your artist recommends an ointment, apply a thin layer as directed. Avoid petroleum-based products unless specifically recommended.
5. Avoid Intense Activities
• Limit exercise and activities that cause sweating for at least a week, as sweat can disrupt healing.
6. Keep Makeup and Skincare Products Away
• Avoid makeup, cleansers, and skincare products on the treated area for the first two weeks, especially those with acids, retinoids, or exfoliants.
